Auction ticket sales closing 11/26
The date for the “Season of Sealth” auction is drawing near, and we couldn’t be more excited! We’ve compiled our Top Ten list of reasons to attend this year. Don’t worry if you haven’t bought your tickets yet - there’s still time but ticket sales are closing THIS SUNDAY 11/26 so grab them fast.
Without further ado, here’s our Top Ten list on why you should attend:
It will be fun The auction committee has worked incredibly hard on every detail of the event, from decor to games, to prizes and music and much much more! What better way to fully get in the spirit of the holiday season with a beautiful, sparkly evening out?
It’s for a good cause So many programs benefit from the funds raised at the auction, including the athletics programs, the music program, and of course the PTSA which helps fund things like school trips and events, uniforms, school supplies, and special requests that come in over the course of the year. Every ticket sale and auction item goes directly to funding these school programs, providing amazing support for our school, students and staff.
The auction items are crazy cool We’ve received so many amazing auction items this year — over 80 and counting. There will be a live auction as well as a silent auction at the event. We’ve got signed items from local celebrities, ski and golf packages, gift cards for nights out on the town, Seattle Symphony tickets, Seahawks and Mariners tickets, PNW cabin getaways, and so much more! All would make great gifts for yourself or others this holiday season.
Signature cocktail We’re pleased to offer the “Sealth Sparkle”, a signature cocktail featuring cranberry, vodka, and just a splash of bubbles. The perfect accompaniment to a festive evening! Non-alcoholic versions available as well.
Live Music & Games Musicians from the Denny/Sealth Performing Arts will be performing throughout the evening, adding to the fun and festive atmosphere. Come hear the students play!
Beautiful, local space The event is being held at the Brockey Center at South Seattle College, and we are leaning into our “Season of Sealth” theme with lots of “winter festive” decor. Attendees are encouraged to dress in sparkles to match the sparkling spirit of the season.
Delicious foods Your ticket gets you entrance to the event, a bidding number, and also some delicious foods like coconut shrimp, tomato basil crostini, teriyaki chicken, caprese skewers, and other yummy stuff. After all, what’s a party without good food?
Photobooth To capture the fun, we’re providing a custom photobooth area with lots of fun props and accessories. There will even be helpers on hand to assist you with getting the perfect shot!
Local celebrities We have an awesome emcee/auctioneer with local ties in the sports community on deck to host, and of course our very own Principal Morales will be there, bringing many of his friends and family! And speaking of celebrities…
We like big auctions and we cannot lie There’s a rumor that a certain local hip-hop legend might stop by. Can’t confirm. It’s just a rumor. But maybe!
